Big Baler - SR 508 | 608
6 versions of the 80 series. …Who better than us?
This series of Big Balers is the right compromise for farms located both on flatlands and hills, to achieve excellent performance with simplicity. The machines can be equipped with two types of pick-ups: the first is 200 cm wide, the other 220 cm wide on the STAR models. These are equipped with a freewheel and two torque limiters on the augers to prevent breakages due to overloads and can be equipped with the "short hay plate" to facilitate the collection of short products.
After the pick-up is the feeding system, consolidated by many years of experience, which is driven by a chain and consists of a two-axis rotary feeder for Ensure product introduction and an alternative feeder behind the feeder.
The feeder, with its two feed cycles for each piston cycle, ensures product uniformity in the baling chamber, making the bales equally compact on both the bottom and top. To protect the machine from overloads, in addition to the torque limiters (the main one on the flywheel), there are three safety bolts: one on the flywheel, one on the feeder, and one on the knotters.
In the event of the latter breaking, a safety device protects the needles by stopping the piston stroke. All versions come standard with four Rasspe knotters and two fans to ensure cleaning.
The "AUTOSTART" control unit allows you to program the fan pause time via the control unit in the cab.
All machines are equipped as standard with the Easy Tronic electronic control unit. Installed in the cab, it allows you to adjust bale density and displays tying, any twine breakage, bale unloading (both with the chute and stacker), and the partial and total bale counter.
There are also numerous accessories available, such as the mounted bale stacker (which allows two bales to be grouped together to halve harvesting time in the field); the humidity sensor located in the baling chamber; the automatic greasing of all points requiring lubrication; the chain lubrication and the last bale ejector.
The upward-opening front and side hoods facilitate maintenance and replenishing twine spools. All models are equipped with an independent hydraulic system as standard. A single action is required to raise and lower the harvester.
